Getting started with cutting

The PRO Butcher 15 cm wide blade (WB) is the most compact butcher knife in the EKA Butcher PRO series. Very easy to handle, it can be used effortlessly even by those with less experience: lightweight and practical, it is suitable for many uses, from meat processing to everyday cooking.

Precise and safe, it features a high-grip handle that can get dirty and be washed without any issues.

Butcher PRO knives have been tested in butcher shops by industry professionals and are used every day in both professional and home kitchens because they are lightweight and easy to handle. The blade is made of Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel, offering long-lasting edge retention.

The wide-blade Butcher knives in the PRO series are also available in 18, 20, 24, and 26 cm.

Sandvik 12C27 Steel

12C27 is the Swedish steel used for most EKA knives, now produced by Alleima (formerly Sandvik). Hardened to 57–59 HRC, it is razor-sharp, corrosion-resistant, and easy to resharpen.
