Perfect Control
EKA® boning knives are ergonomically designed to separate skin from bones and pin bones, and are used by professionals, families, hunters, and fishermen.
The 13 cm PRO Boning knife is lightweight and compact, and slightly curved to help the hand move easily during work.
The EKA Pro Boning kitchen knife series is made from Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel with a hardness of 58 HRC.
The steel used by EKA is produced in Sweden by the Sandvik steel company, which specializes in the production of high-quality steel. The main characteristic of the blade is its long-lasting edge retention.
The handles of the Pro Boning series are all made from Santoprene™, a hygienically approved material worldwide and known for its secure grip properties under stress.
For professional butchering, we recommend using the filleting knives included in the Butcher Set, EKA's complete butchering set. The 13 cm PRO Boning knife is included in the Butchering Set for ungulates because it is ideal for precise and rapid work.
The PRO Boning Series is available with blades of 13, 15, and 15 reinforced, 16, and 18 cm with a semi-flexible blade that is shaped and thin to maximize the length of cuts. The blade length depends not only on the application but also on the type of cut desired.
