Eka has created a kit dedicated to wild boar butchering. A unique knife set, made exclusively for Italy, designed for the specific challenges of butchering a wild boar compared to other ungulates.
Conceived and made by expert wild boar hunters, each knife in this kit has a specific utility in processing the animal, taking into account the complexity of skinning a wild boar compared to a deer or roe deer. The new Butcher Set is designed to best serve all stages of butchering and cutting wild boar meat.

REINFORCED 16CM FILLET AND BONING KNIFE
Fillet and boning knife, EKA's best-selling butchering knife, specifically designed for tasks requiring maximum flexibility and precision. The reinforcement at the base between the handle and blade is fundamental and makes this tool unique.
The very thin blade profile allows it to perfectly follow the profile of the wild boar's femur or shoulder, achieving a precise cut even in the narrowest and thinnest parts. The 16cm blade allows for ideal ease of movement for those approaching butchering. A precise all-rounder.
The sharpening and the use of Sandvik steel make the knife extremely precise, ideal not only for boning but also for fine work on delicate and valuable cuts.
GUT OPENER OR SKINNING KNIFE
Specific knife for the initial phase of butchering, the rounded blade profile makes it easy to open the wild boar's belly from the inside so as not to come into contact with the bristles and damage the blade.
The steel used makes the sharpness very durable, ideal for teams that need to process many animals in sequence.

Stiff boning knife, thanks to the reinforcement at the beginning of the blade, it has the necessary stiffness for working even on a large wild boar.

SKINNING KNIFE
Knife with a curved profile, specific for skinning wild boar.
The rounded tip is designed not to cut the skin, avoiding contact with bristles during the skinning process. The curved profile, combined with the flexibility of the blade, allows for a clean and precise cut, facilitating the separation of the skin from the muscles, preserving the meat without cuts on the skin.
