For experts

The PRO Skinning 18 cm is the skinner with the longest blade in the EKA Butcher PRO series: the right tool for those experienced in both skinning and meat processing.

It is ideal for the delicate skinning phase, as it easily separates skin from muscle without damaging the meat, but thanks to the shape of the blade, it is also suitable for cutting. Quick and easy to sharpen.

The blade is made of Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel, which is distinguished by its long-lasting edge retention. The soft, ergonomic handle is made of Santoprene™, a material approved for food contact and known for providing a secure grip even with wet or greasy hands.

The PRO series skinners are also available in 15 cm and 16 cm versions.

Sandvik 12C27 Steel

12C27 is the Swedish steel used for most EKA knives, now produced by Alleima (formerly Sandvik). Hardened to 57–59 HRC, it is razor-sharp, corrosion-resistant, and easy to resharpen.
