Reinforced boning knife

The PRO Reinforced Boning 15 cm from the EKA Butcher PRO series features a reinforced blade base: the thicker part of the steel near the handle makes it strong and safe, even when prying against bone.

The blade is stable, slightly flexible, and of the ideal length for precision work. Despite its sturdiness, the knife remains incredibly lightweight, with a comfortable and secure grip: a tool designed for professional meat processors and hunters working on large game.

The blade is made of Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel, which stands out for its long-lasting edge retention. The handle is made of Santoprene™, a food-safe material known for providing a secure grip even with wet or greasy hands.

The boning knives in the PRO series are also available in 13 cm and 16 cm versions.

Sandvik 12C27 steel

12C27 is the Swedish steel used for most EKA knives, now produced by Alleima (formerly Sandvik). Hardened to 57–59 HRC, it is razor-sharp, corrosion-resistant, and easy to resharpen.
