The ultra-ergonomic skinner

The PRO Skinning 16 cm from the EKA Butcher PRO series features a very distinct design: the blade has a curvature designed for comfortable working and to relieve wrist fatigue.

It is suitable for demanding butchery tasks and allows for extended skinning without tiring the arm. The bend of the blade separates the skin from the muscles with agility and without damaging the meat. Ideal for those already experienced in butchery, it ensures fast and precise work.

It is the skinner from the Wild Boar Butcher Set.

The blade is made of Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel, which stands out for its long-lasting edge retention. The soft, non-slip handle is made of Santoprene™, a material approved for food contact and known for its secure grip even when hands are wet or greasy.

The skinners in the PRO series are also available in 15 cm and 18 cm versions.

Sandvik 12C27 Steel

12C27 is the Swedish steel used for most EKA knives, now produced by Alleima (formerly Sandvik). Hardened to 57–59 HRC, it is razor-sharp, corrosion-resistant, and easy to resharpen.
